Why Dawata?

Dawata means to receive. It is a beautiful and meaningful Cebuano word. So, why not Dawata?

There is no reason not to choose Dawata as our identity. It is perfect, open to people’s interpretations, and most of all, resonates our message in a just a single word.

We want people “to receive” the goodness and positive benefits of yoga in physical, emotional, and mental health. For us, these health wonders should be “shared and received” by everyone.

Take and receive – just like how the song goes by. We are ready to teach you everything. In return, dawata.
